Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Phillips in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work Swinging Berlin, Twins by Ellen von Unwerth. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,024.00 (€ 3,504.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ellen von Unwerth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parasol in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 65,244.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Swinging Berlin, Twins von Ellen von Unwerth zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.024,00 (€ 3.504,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ellen von Unwerth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parasol im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 65.244,72).
