The work Like a Dude, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell, Paris by Ellen von Unwerth was auctioned at Phillips in London in November last year. It achieved a price of GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,548.20), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ellen von Unwerth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Parasol in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 65,244.72).

Die Arbeit Like a Dude, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell, Paris von Ellen von Unwerth kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.548,20) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ellen von Unwerth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Parasol im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 65.244,72).
