Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ellen von Unwerth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in November last year. In the Photographs auction, the work Jump Over the Eiffel Tower sold for GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,300.26) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ellen von Unwerth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Parasol in May 2016 with an auction result of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 65,244.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ellen von Unwerth erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Jump Over the Eiffel Tower für GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.300,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ellen von Unwerth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Parasol im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 65.244,72).
