This artwork by Ella Kruglyanskaya achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in June 2021. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session auction, the work Untitled (Big Hand) sold for USD 75,600.00 (€ 63,808.24) - well above the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ella Kruglyanskaya; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Swordfish Picnic sold at auction in October 2015 with the realized price of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 113,648.46).
