In June 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale, which included the work Spanish marina Con Barco (Seascape With Sailing Boat) by Eliseo Meifrén. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,920.99), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eliseo Meifrén achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Regatas en el puerto de Barcelona in October 2005 with an auction result of EUR 437,600.00.

Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spanish marina Con Barco (Seascape With Sailing Boat) von Eliseo Meifrén zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.920,99) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eliseo Meifrén erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Regatas en el puerto de Barcelona im Oktober 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 437.600,00.
