Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 144,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eliseo Meifrén - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Regatas en el puerto de Barcelona, which sold at auction in October 2005 for EUR 437,600.00.
