This artwork by Eileen Quinlan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2017. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Smoke & Mirrors #99 sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,540.60) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eileen Quinlan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venus Mount, 2020, which sold at auction in April 2021 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,390.69).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Eileen Quinlan erzielte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Smoke & Mirrors #99 für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.540,60) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eileen Quinlan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venus Mount, 2020 beobachtet, die im April 2021 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.390,69) versteigert wurde.
