A top price for Eileen Quinlan - as previously expected
In April 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Venus Mount, 2020 by Eileen Quinlan. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,390.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Venus Mount, 2020 is the most expensive artwork by Eileen Quinlan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Venus Mount, 2020 von Eileen Quinlan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.390,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Venus Mount, 2020 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Eileen Quinlan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
