Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Smoke & Mirrors # 97 by Eileen Quinlan was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2018. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,131.96) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eileen Quinlan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venus Mount, 2020, which sold at auction in April 2021 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,390.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Smoke & Mirrors # 97 von Eileen Quinlan kam im April 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.131,96) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Eileen Quinlan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venus Mount, 2020 beobachtet, die im April 2021 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.390,69) versteigert wurde.
