Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fahrenheit #12 by Eileen Quinlan was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in London in September 2016. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,342.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eileen Quinlan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Venus Mount, 2020, which sold at auction in April 2021 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 10,390.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fahrenheit #12 von Eileen Quinlan wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.342,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Eileen Quinlan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Venus Mount, 2020 beobachtet, die im April 2021 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 10.390,69) versteigert wurde.
