In April 2021 Christies in Paris held the auction The 20th Century Art Online Sale, which included the work Composition Au Cadran Zodiaque by Effat Naghi. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,000.00 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Effat Naghi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,365.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 67 % übertroffen
Im April 2021 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion The 20th Century Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition Au Cadran Zodiaque von Effat Naghi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.000,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Effat Naghi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.365,46).
