Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saad and Effat in their Garden by Effat Naghi was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,472.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Effat Naghi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,365.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Saad and Effat in their Garden von Effat Naghi kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.475,00 (€ 13.472,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Effat Naghi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2014 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.365,46) versteigert wurde.
