Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection, which included the work Landscape by Effat Naghi. The price achieved of GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,753.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Effat Naghi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,365.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale including works from the Saatchi Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Effat Naghi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.753,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Effat Naghi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.365,46).
