Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale, which included the work Abstract Forms by Effat Naghi. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,250.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Effat Naghi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,365.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIThe Finale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract Forms von Effat Naghi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.250,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Effat Naghi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.365,46).
