Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Aydeeyakum Ma'ee (Your Hands are with Me) by Effat Naghi was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May this year. The price achieved of GBP 10,240.00 (€ 11,914.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Effat Naghi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in March 2014 for USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,365.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Aydeeyakum Ma'ee (Your Hands are with Me) von Effat Naghi kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.240,00 (€ 11.914,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Effat Naghi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im März 2014 für USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.365,46) versteigert wurde.
