In the American Art auction, the work Trumpets of Missouri changed hands for USD 149,000.00 (€ 109,237.54) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Trumpets of Missouri is the most expensive artwork by Edwin Howland Blashfield that we have observed at auction so far.
