In the 19th Century European Art Including Orientalist Art auction, the work Under The Temple Eaves sold for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 41,210.20) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edwin Howland Blashfield - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Trumpets of Missouri, which sold at auction in May 2014 for USD 149,000.00 (€ 109,237.54).
