Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2006 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings, which included the work Portrait of H.S. "Jim" Ede by Edward Wolfe. The price achieved of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,296.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Other works by Edward Wolfe have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2006 the work Portrait of Curtis Thomas was auctioned for GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,053.27).

Im Juli 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art including The Studio of Humphrey Jennings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of H.S. "Jim" Ede von Edward Wolfe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.296,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Edward Wolfe konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2006 die Arbeit Portrait of Curtis Thomas für GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.053,27) versteigert.
