It achieved a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,680.98), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Wadsworth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Imaginary Harbour I in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 232,440.63).

Die Arbeit Rubel Bronze and Metal Co. Ltd von Edward Wadsworth wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.680,98) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Wadsworth erzielen.
