A top price for Edward Wadsworth
In November 2016 Christies in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art Evening Sale, which included the work Imaginary Harbour I by Edward Wadsworth. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 197,000.00 (€ 232,440.63), 64% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Imaginary Harbour I the most expensive artwork by Edward Wadsworth that we have observed at auctions so far.
