Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work 'When the sun to Westward sinks and bathes all things in Gold' by Edward Reginald Frampton. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,539.98). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Reginald Frampton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Our Lady of Promise (La Madonna di Promessa) in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 173,000.00 (€ 202,265.07).
