Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wild Flower by Edward Henry Berge was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. The price achieved of USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,924.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Henry Berge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Wildflower', which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 29,656.48).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.924,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Edward Henry Berge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Wildflower' beobachtet, die im März 2006 für USD 36.000,00 (€ 29.656,48) versteigert wurde.
