Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Duck Mother by Edward Henry Berge was sold in the American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in May 2019. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,969.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Henry Berge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Wildflower', which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 29,656.48).
