Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wildflower: A Fountain by Edward Henry Berge was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2008. The price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,315.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Henry Berge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Wildflower', which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 29,656.48).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.315,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden.
