Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work At The Water'S Edge by Edward Henry Berge was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2004. Here, the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 9,560.00 (€ 7,699.12). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edward Henry Berge - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Wildflower', which sold at auction in March 2006 for USD 36,000.00 (€ 29,656.48).

Die Arbeit At The Water'S Edge von Edward Henry Berge kam im September 2004 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 9.560,00 (€ 7.699,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Edward Henry Berge mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Wildflower' beobachtet, die im März 2006 für USD 36.000,00 (€ 29.656,48) versteigert wurde.
