Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Tablas I, Cuadrado 4 by Eduardo Terrazas for USD 35,280.00 (€ 30,474.22). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eduardo Terrazas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 1.1.213 (From The Series 'Possibilities Of A Structure', Subseries Of 'Cosmos'), which sold at auction in November 2020 for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 83,725.31).
