Auction result well in line with expectations

In December 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction From Constantinople to Tangier, an Italian Private Collection, which included the work Scène d'intérieur by Edouard Verschaffelt. It changed hands for a price of EUR 39,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Edouard Verschaffelt have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2007 the work Scène Familiale was auctioned for EUR 72,250.00.

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Dezember 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion From Constantinople to Tangier, an Italian Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Scène d'intérieur von Edouard Verschaffelt zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 39.000,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Edouard Verschaffelt konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2007 die Arbeit Scène Familiale für EUR 72.250,00 versteigert.
