Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Vor Kairo by Edmund Berninger was sold in the Dekorative Kunst auction at VAN HAM in January 2014. Here, the estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,290.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edmund Berninger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A View of the Bay of Sorrento in October 2008 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 41,397.26).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Vor Kairo von Edmund Berninger wurde im Januar 2014 in der Auktion Dekorative Kunst bei VAN HAM versteigert. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.290,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edmund Berninger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A View of the Bay of Sorrento im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 41.397,26).
