Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2013 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A Boy And A Donkey On The Way To Market Above The Bay Of Naples by Edmund Berninger. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,671.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edmund Berninger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A View of the Bay of Sorrento, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 41,397.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Boy And A Donkey On The Way To Market Above The Bay Of Naples von Edmund Berninger zur Versteigerung kam.
