This artwork by Edmund Adler achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2007. In the 19th Century EuropeanArt auction, the work Mummy's little angels sold for EUR 10,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edmund Adler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Secret, which sold at auction in May 2000 for USD 23,500.00 (€ 25,192.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edmund Adler erzielte im April 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century EuropeanArt wurde die Arbeit Mummy's little angels für EUR 10.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Edmund Adler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Secret beobachtet, die im Mai 2000 für USD 23.500,00 (€ 25.192,97) versteigert wurde.
