Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Yellow Canary 22 x 27in (55.9 x 68.6cm) by Edmund Adler was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,864.00 (€ 4,459.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edmund Adler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Secret in May 2000 with an auction result of USD 23,500.00 (€ 25,192.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Yellow Canary 22 x 27in (55.9 x 68.6cm) von Edmund Adler kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.864,00 (€ 4.459,11) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edmund Adler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Secret im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.500,00 (€ 25.192,97).
