In September 2012 Christies in London held the auction The London Sale, which included the work The Passing Show, St. Martin in the Fields; Victoria Coach Station; Shell Mex House; Dorchester Hotel by Edith Mary Garner. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,352.79) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Passing Show, St. Martin in the Fields; Victoria Coach Station; Shell Mex House; Dorchester Hotel is the most expensive artwork by Edith Mary Garner that we have observed at auctions so far.
