This work of art by Edgar Negret could be acquired at Phillips in 7 - in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York auction, the work Sol changed hands for USD 12,700.00 (€ 11,480.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Edgar Negret have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aparato Mágico in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 105,059.67).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Edgar Negret konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 7 - für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art: Online Auction, New York wechselte die Arbeit Sol für USD 12.700,00 (€ 11.480,74) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edgar Negret auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aparato Mágico im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 105.059,67).
