Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Two Petunias by Ed Mell for USD 33,020.00 (€ 31,198.03). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Ed Mell have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November this year by the work Red Rock Cloud Drift at USD 38,400.00 (€ 35,203.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Two Petunias von Ed Mell für USD 33.020,00 (€ 31.198,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Ed Mell wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November diesen Jahres die Arbeit Red Rock Cloud Drift mit USD 38.400,00 (€ 35.203,52).
