In March 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Untitled Dd 00 by Eberhard Havekost. The result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,410.05) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eberhard Havekost achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Team in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 131,200.00 (€ 192,965.77).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im März 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled Dd 00 von Eberhard Havekost zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.410,05) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eberhard Havekost erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Team im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.200,00 (€ 192.965,77).
