Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rohstoff 2 by Eberhard Havekost was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September last year. The price achieved of USD 12,600.00 (€ 12,879.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eberhard Havekost achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Team in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 131,200.00 (€ 192,965.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Rohstoff 2 von Eberhard Havekost kam im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.600,00 (€ 12.879,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eberhard Havekost erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Team im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.200,00 (€ 192.965,77).
