Upper estimate price exceeded by 51 %.
In June last year Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Living Contemporary, which included the work Fische (Fish) by Eberhard Havekost. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 15,120.00 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eberhard Havekost achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Team in February 2006 with an auction result of GBP 131,200.00 (€ 192,965.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Köln die Auktion Living Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fische (Fish) von Eberhard Havekost zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 15.120,00 und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eberhard Havekost erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Team im Februar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 131.200,00 (€ 192.965,77).
