Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Napoleon Complex by Dylan Lynch was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,125.00 (€ 1,948.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Dylan Lynch have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2016 the work Bent Steel was auctioned for USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,680.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Napoleon Complex von Dylan Lynch wurde im September 2019 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.125,00 (€ 1.948,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Dylan Lynch konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2016 die Arbeit Bent Steel für USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.680,53) versteigert.
