Auction result misses estimated price range
In October last year a collector was able to acquire the work Winter Swell by Dylan Lynch for USD 204.00 (€ 205.36). This price was achieved in the auction Children's Cancer & Blood Foundation Charity Auction at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dylan Lynch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bent Steel in February 2016 with an auction result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,680.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Winter Swell von Dylan Lynch für USD 204,00 (€ 205,36) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Children's Cancer & Blood Foundation Charity Auction bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dylan Lynch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bent Steel im Februar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.680,53).
