Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of AUD 9,400.00 (€ 5,634.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Max Meldrum have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pacé in May 2001 with an auction result of AUD 47,000.00 (€ 28,172.21).
