Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work 'Fuchsia - Upright Type' by Dr. Dain L. Tasker for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,698.54). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Dr. Dain L. Tasker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips; Lily; and Strelitzia (Bird of Pardise) 3 in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,473.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 'Fuchsia - Upright Type' von Dr. Dain L. Tasker für USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.698,54) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dr. Dain L. Tasker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tulips; Lily; and Strelitzia (Bird of Pardise) 3 im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.473,70).
