Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century to Now, which included the work Dad by Doron Langberg. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 40,640.00 (€ 47,297.96), 16% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Doron Langberg have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nir and Zach in October last year with an auction result of GBP 378,000.00 (€ 440,365.81).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dad von Doron Langberg zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 40.640,00 (€ 47.297,96) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Doron Langberg auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nir and Zach im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 378.000,00 (€ 440.365,81).
