Auction result misses estimated price range

In the Photographs auction, the work A Group Of Boys, South Carolina changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,421.07) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Doris Ulmann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Baptism in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,714.09).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Doris Ulmann konnte im Oktober 2008 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit A Group Of Boys, South Carolina für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.421,07) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00.
