In September last year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Mask (Open mouth) by Donna Huanca. The »bidding war« ended at USD 52,920.00 (€ 54,093.84), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Donna Huanca have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 74,693.59) in March last year for the work Scipios.
