In November last year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle, which included the work MERITO PIGMEO by Donna Huanca. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 529,200.00 (€ 65,669.40), 32% above the upper estimate. Other works by Donna Huanca have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 74,693.59) in March last year for the work Scipios.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle durch, in der auch die Arbeit MERITO PIGMEO von Donna Huanca zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 65.669,40) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Donna Huanca haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 74.693,59) im März letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Scipios beobachtet.
