Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Donna Huanca could be acquired at Phillips in Hong Kong in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now & Design auction, the work YMA PIMA changed hands for HKD 165,100.00 (€ 19,373.67) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 180,000.00 – 240,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Donna Huanca - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Scipios, which sold at auction in March last year for GBP 63,000.00 (€ 74,693.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Donna Huanca konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now & Design wechselte die Arbeit YMA PIMA für HKD 165.100,00 (€ 19.373,67) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 240.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Donna Huanca mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Scipios beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für GBP 63.000,00 (€ 74.693,59) versteigert wurde.
