Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in London held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy In Oracle Script by Dong Zuobin. The price achieved of HKD 38,400.00 (€ 4,487.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Zuobin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy In Oracle Script von Dong Zuobin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 38.400,00 (€ 4.487,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Zuobin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 60.674,61).
