Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dong Zuobin achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Hong Kong in June last year. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Poem in Oracle Bone Script sold for HKD 51,000.00 (€ 6,206.32) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dong Zuobin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dong Zuobin erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Poem in Oracle Bone Script für HKD 51.000,00 (€ 6.206,32) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dong Zuobin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 60.674,61).
