Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy by Dong Zuobin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 6,093.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dong Zuobin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Dong Zuobin kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 6.093,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Dong Zuobin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 60.674,61).
