Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Calligraphy in Jiaguwen by Dong Zuobin was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 32,760.00 (€ 3,960.92). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dong Zuobin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 525,000.00 (€ 60,674.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy in Jiaguwen von Dong Zuobin kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 32.760,00 (€ 3.960,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dong Zuobin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 525.000,00 (€ 60.674,61).
